Yesterday, shares in one of America’s biggest tech companies collapsed by more than 20% after it posted its second quarterly revenue decline in a row.
The market value of this company has now fallen by more than half a trillion dollars since just the start of this year.
Given the speed and scale of this decline, investors are now openly wondering whether the company is entering a death spiral—an inescapable collapse in its share price.
So yesterday, I sat down with Field Notes Managing Editor Ciaran Madden to discuss what is happening to this renowned company, and to explain why many of America’s other tech giants could soon find themselves in a similar position.

P.S. What if you could learn to speak useable, useful Spanish in just 20 minutes? It may sound implausible…but it’s genuinely possible when you follow the special memory cue system developed by Spanish teaching maestro Warren Hardy.
Warren’s been teaching Spanish for over 50 years, and he’s created a system of visual cues and repetition, specifically for older learners, that will get you speaking Spanish faster than you ever imagined. Earlier this week, he showcased this system online at the special webinar, Speak Spanish in 20 Minutes Summit: Fast and Easy Spanish for Baby Boomers. If you missed the event, you can still check it out for FREE right here.
At this webinar, Warren showed how pronunciation and accents work…and how to use a handful of easy-to-remember “power verbs” to quickly form hundreds of sentences. Again, this summit is FREE. Nothing is asked of you except to come with an open mind. Simply click here to watch it now. But hurry…it’s only available until midnight tonight.
