Europe’s first spot bitcoin exchange-traded fund is set to launch later this month.
This comes as some of the biggest names on Wall Street are filing or refiling applications with the Securities and Exchange Commission to launch the same instruments in America.
The launch of these spot ETFs would be game-changing for bitcoin and the wider crypto market.
So, earlier today, I sat down with Field Notes Managing Editor Ciaran Madden to explain what these ETFs are and why they are so important… discuss why the SEC refused to allow them before, and now seems to be changing its mind… and share my favorite way to play bitcoin before the potential price spike ahead.
